Alice V. Abilez

Mrs. Abilez attended Cooper Middle School and graduated from Lanier High School in 1967. She worked for the San Antonio Housing Authority for many years. She was dedicated to serving the community by providing safe and affordable housing options. She helped many people and was loyal in her commitment.

Many residents cherished and adored her leadership. She will be greatly missed by her community and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Villarreal and Elena Aguilar Villarreal; siblings, Consuelo Felan, Guadalupe, David, Gregorio, Francisco, Jesse, Trinidad, and Manuela Villarreal.

Alice is survived by her loving husband of 51 years of marriage, Luis G. Abilez; daughters, Roxanne Martinez and Brenda Abilez; grandchildren Devin Coleman and Trinity Oleskevich; siblings, Rita V. Barrientes, Albert Villarreal, Abelardo Villarreal, Elpidio Villarreal, Arturo Villarreal, Francisco Villarreal and Guadalupe Villarreal.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Mass of The Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida St., San Antonio,TX 78207. Services will conclude at the church. Everyone will be meeting at church on Monday.
