
Alice Jane Wilson McCulloch, age 81, went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2004 in Richmond, Texas. Born November 21, 1922, to George William Wilson, Sr. and Mary Ruth Moorman Wilson in Owensboro, KY, she attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY, and worked for the Red Cross.
She met and married Horace Winston McCulloch of Huntsville, TX, who preceded her in death. Together, they lived in Kentucky, Maryland, Okinawa, Italy, Louisiana and Texas. The couple moved to San Antonio in 1967, where Alice worked with the Welcome Wagon service, which she loved and where she met many dear friends.
Active in the Alamo Heights Christian Church, Alamo China Club and the Hospitality Club, Alice was an avid bridge player, which she loved to play with her dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert E. Wilson; and grandson, Wilson McCulloch Parkhouse.
She is survived by her two daughters who adored her, Ruth Wilson Bondurant and husband, William Thomas Bondurant, III of Richmond, TX, and Alison Anne Gomez and husband, George A. Gomez, Jr.; grandson, Trey Gomez of San Antonio; brother, Dr. George William Wilson, Jr. and wife, Marion of Peoria, IL; three sister-in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Bennie Henry; and her cat, Landry.
