I am so saddened to hear about Alma's passing. A few years ago we met at the Republican Party Office where we became friends. Alma was a strong supportive figure for the GOP. She will be missed. Condolences to her family and close friends.

Alma will be greatly missed. I pray that God will raise up 6 workers to continue her work reaching out to those in need of information and  belonging. She was incredibly able to speak the truth with love. She was an amazing person who touched a great many lives.
I personally will miss her welcoming smiles and that occasional look that said “Are you sure…?” 
I was richly blessed to have Alma in my life.

Beloved family and siblings of Alma Jackson, our hearts are deeply saddened by the news that our beloved cousin has passed. Our only consolation is that she is in better hands, (with our Heavenly Father),  than we are and also is no longer suffering.  We are also saddened by the fact that at this time  we are unable to attend Alma’s funeral, due to recent health issues, and too many miles between us.  Please know that you all are in our hearts and in our prayers.  God willing in the future we will be able to travel and come to see you all.

Alma was a long time committed member of the Texas GOP. She spent years organizing meet & greets and groups to help bring people together for our political cause. She was one of the few people there for me when I was a freshman precinct chairman, and helped guide me and find my way. She took the time to get to know me, and included me in her inner circle. 

I am so thankful for her support, encouragement, and friendship over the years. She was a very special lady, whom I will miss.

Alma was my Comadre
Mother to my dear son in law Tony, mother in law to my wonderful Cindy and grandmother to the most amazing and precious grandchildren. From the moment our families met, Alma received us  with warmth and friendship . She was a very giving person. Just a few short months ago, Tony and Cindy invited Alma and me on a family vacation. Even though she was going through her treatment and not feeling well, she insisted I take the best seat in the van  and offered to help with my luggage! Cindy described her as beautiful, smart and spunky.  Spunky she was - and brave, very very brave. Rest in Peace Comadre

I met Alma in junior high school, where she was a percussionist in the band. We remained friends  through high school and then lost touch.  We reconnected at one oh the HHS reunions and maintained occasional contact on social media.  I enjoyed my conversations with Alma, and appreciated her strong convictions and faith.  I am sorry for the family’s loss, but I know she is enjoying the presence of the Lord Jesus.

I am so saddened by Alma's passing.  We became good friends while attending San Antonio College and UTSA.  Kevin and I took the same classes with her and shared notes to study together.  She always brought in some type of snack for everyone in the class to enjoy.  She was so proud of her children and spoke of them often.  She invited me to a watch party when she ran for a position.  So full of enthusiasm for the community.  I lost touch when a Christmas card came back undeliverable.  Little did I know, I could have searched her on the internet and would have found her.  She did her work here on earth.  She deserves to rest now.  - Kathy Curran-Kelly
