She loved fishing and playing the nickel slots, and made her last casino trip at the age of 90.
Alma was born on August 11, 1918, in Covington, Kentucky.
She was predeceased by her husband, William W. Marshall, of Boerne, Texas; her elder daughter, Barbara Lee Hall of San Antonio, Texas; her parents; and her brothers, Bernard Bruegge, LeRoy Bruegge, and Henry Cletus Bruegge.
Alma is survived by her devoted companion, Robert Wessels; and daughter, Judith A. Gray both of San Antonio.
Also mourning her loss are son-in-law, Roger Gray; granddaughters, Barbara Lee Corff, and husband, Jeff Corff, of Austin, Texas, Monica Jean Gallagher, and husband, Dan Gallagher, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mary Kathleen Hall, of Phoenix, Arizona; great grandchildren, Barbara Lee Gallagher and Travis Hall also of Phoenix, Arizona.
Alma's family and friends are grateful for the many years of love that they were able to spend with her.
Burial of ashes alongside her husband and daughter are pending in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
