Amalee Eloise Glover

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Glover in 1992. She was also preceded by her parents, Fred and Lena Nettles and sisters, Lela Walker of Odessa, TX, Eva Doty of Sudan, TX, Inez Bellar of Amarillo, TX and Sybil Darling of Lakeport, CA. Brothers preceding her were Tom Nettles of Grass Valley, CA, Floyd Nettles of Placerville, CA and Ross Nettles of Quartzite, AZ.

Amalee is survived by her only son, Darrell Glover and wife Jan of San Antonio, as well as three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Scott Glover and wife Shenese and daughters, Karlee and Paige of San Antonio, D'aun Jordan and husband Rob and daughters Tori and Cami of San Antonio, and Michelle Glover of Alpine, TX.

Amalee was an avid golfer and founding member of the High Plains Ladies Golf Association. She loved to tell friends of the three family holes in one, including hers, husband Ralph's and son Darrell's.

Friends may visit Mrs. Glover beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
