Amalia M. Acuna

Molly was the devoted wife of Joe Acuna, loving mother to Veronica Garcia (Chris) and Melinda Ortega (Jason). She was a loving grandmother to Jacob Garza (Jennifer Lin), Jonathon Anguiano (Maritza Ojeda), Jayson Anguiano, Joshua Ortega, Jaren Ortega, Yzabella Garcia and Lauren Georges (David Regalado). She was a loving great grandmother to Jaiden Garza and Olivia Garza. A loving sister to Maria Crump, Lucy Ramos, Fidel Martinez Jr, Pedro “Pete”Martinez (Sandra), Robert “Bobby”Martinez (Maria), Richard “Rick”Martinez (Bertha), Gerard “Jerry”Martinez (Esther), Susana “Susie” Donovan (Manuel). Sister-in-law to Delores Morin, Daniel Acuna, and Andrew Acuna (Rose). A daughter in-law-to Clementina “Clem” Acuna. She was also an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Estella Martinez; father-in-law, Fred Acuna and brotherin-law Richard Acuna.

It is an understatement to say she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
