Amy Bonds

Amy Bonds, age 77, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on April 7, 1947, in Austin, Texas, she was the daughter of Johnny and Elfrieda Brydson. Amy grew up in Austin, where she attended Austin High School, and later worked for the City of Austin.

In 1978, Amy moved to San Antonio to pursue her dream of being a full-time housewife. This role allowed her to dedicate her time to caring for her family and volunteering at her children's schools.

Amy cherished spending time at the lake, golfing, traveling, and socializing with friends. Her greatest love was her husband, Jerry, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years, along with their children, grandchildren, beloved pets, and a large circle of friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bonds, and her parents, Johnny and Elfrieda

Brydson. Amy is survived by her son, Brian Bonds; daughter, Adrienne Condon; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bonds; son-in-law, Chris Condon; and her cherished grandchildren: Kaley Bonds (20), Holt Condon (14), Hayes Condon (11), and Carsyn Condon (11).

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
