Andrew Boss, Jr.

Andrew Boss passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. He is survived by his brother, Russell Boss; and his daughters, Terri Boss, Suzanne Lafaver, and Lisa Neubauer; four grandchildren, Miles Neubauer, Spencer Neubauer, Michael Lafaver, and Stephen Lafaver; two great-grandchildren, Cooper Neubauer and Brandon Lafaver; as well as several nephews and nieces, along with cousins. He was preceded in death by Andrew Boss, Margie Boss, Mary Boss, Tim Boss and Linda Knapick.

Andrew was born in San Antonio and graduated from Thomas Edison High in 1956. He was recruited to Texas A&I for his success on the football field, then returned to San Antonio, marrying Mary Frances Reeves. He worked as a lineman at CPS, studied to become a licensed electrician and A/C contractor.

Andrew moved to Bulverde in 1962, after constructing his family home. He started a custom home building company, Boss Homes.

After retiring from home building, he built two commercial sites that include store front and office space. He then introduced Homestead Handcrafts, a successful family operated Craft Mall on both sites. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father, entrepreneur, and successful business owner.

Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde Texas, at 10:00 am.
