Drew is survived by his parents David and Yvonne Gonzalez, his sister Celine, best friend Andrew Granger, grandfather Jesse Ayala, grandmother Lilia Gonzalez, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was an Angel on earth, and is now a Saint in heaven. He was the best Son, Big Brother, and Friend. He was always considerate and selfless in thought and actions by bringing smiles, laughter and a joyful spirit to all.
Drew loved life and always was there to give a helping hand, listen to you and pray that life would bring you blessings. To the people he was closest, he loved them as much or more than any earth spirit possible. He played baseball, threw the shot put and discus growing up, and played varsity football and was in student council at Lewisville High School.
Drew earned an Associates in Business with all 3 Welding certifications. He spent his time enjoying ANIME and deep sea fishing. In addition to College, one of his greatest accomplishments was earning his Boy Scout Eagle rank, which afforded him many outdoor travels and experiences. He was also active in his community and church at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Flower Mound, Tx. Drew will be remembered and celebrated by his friends and Boy Scout family in North Texas, and his many relatives in San Antonio, Texas.
