Mrs. Hernandez and family - I am so sorry for your loss. Your husband was such a wonderful man. I have fond memories of his sweet smile and gentle manner.

My condolences to the Hernandez Family. Andy was a dear friend and a true public servant. He would often visit me at my office to discuss how the tax system could fairly help the people. Andy will be missed.

Andy and I were work associates and good friends for years at Kelly AFB. I knew him to be an always accomplished, enthusiastic, supporter of the Air Force mission, a contributor of meaningful, sensible, do-able good ideas, a caring and polished and sharing gentleman, who exhibited good taste and remarkable finesse in dealing very successfully with people problems and concerns, as in the San Antonio Air Logistics Center Equal Opportunity Program. He was an achiever, a winner, and full of merit, and always spoke fondly and proudly of his wonderful family.

though we seldom visited- I never forget his smile -and thinking of him, I think of johnnie,louie, lucy, toni, gladys and mom, though it's sad, its nice and better "seeing them all in a circle smiling and laughing" and waiting for me and the rest of the tribe.

My sincerest condolences to the Hernandez family. I was very saddened to hear of Andrew's passing. Andrew and I were classmates from grammer, junior and high school. I was gone from San Antonio most of my adult life but I was still able to see Andrew at our class reunions and glad to see him.

I have fond memories of the many times Andy and I would share our concerns about providing greater fairnes, justice, and equality for all. His work in this area was outstanding.

My dearest brother, Andrew, often discussed the day when either he or I would say our last goodbyes. Andrew asked me to print & pass out the following & promised he would do he same for me .. As promised, Andrew : " Death

Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put on difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
