

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Susanna Idell Phillips Kelly. Mr. Kelly was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 1, 1921.
He graduated from Central Catholic High School and later attended Texas A&M University.
In 1941, he enlisted in the Army Air Corp. and served with distinction as a B-25 bomber pilot in both the European and African theaters.
In 1945, Mr. Kelly left the service of his country as a decorated captain, to marry the love of his life, Susanna Phillips.
He worked eight years as a landsman for the Phillips Drilling Company and in 1957, Mr. Kelly fulfilled a dream by moving his family to a Montana ranch. His reputation for raising fine Angus cattle and top working cow horses brought him recognition throughout the Montana ranching industry.
Mr. Kelly's passion for playing golf began as a caddie in high school. He later represented the Texas A&M golf team, and continued to play right up until the final days of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susanna Phillips Kelly and his son, Charles Edward Kelly. He is survived by his daughter, Susanna P. Kelly; son, Andrew B. Kelly, Jr. and wife, Sue; and grandchildren, Nicholas Robert, Elizabeth Idell, Anne Katherine, Ryan Andrew, Jocelyn and Geneva Kelly.
