

She was a devoted and dedicated employee of Alamo Savings Association for 18 years. She ventured out to open her own home child care business and for 22 years lovingly cared for her grandchildren and other children in their early stages of life. She was a beautiful person, intelligent and with a sparkling personality and took great satisfaction in being a great friend full of positive spirits.
She loved to walk enjoying the spirit of nature around her. Angela loved to dance, had a passion for music and was blessed by many friends and family. She took great pleasure and satisfaction in planting and working in her garden. An incredibly selfless woman, Angela was known for her sense of style in her dress and design.
Angela is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Lucia Garza; nephew, Christian Arista. She is survived by her daughters: Diane Garcia and husband, Saul; and Jennifer Stone; grandchildren: Matthew, Nicholas, Jonathan, Joshua and Emily; brother, Michael Garza and wife, Frances; sister, Yvonne Arista and husband, Chuck; brother, Johnny Ray Garza and partner, Temo, brother, Steven Garza and wife, Elsa; nieces and nephews: Christopher, Christina, Amy, Marisa, Andrew and Allysa; along with many wonderful friends.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 30th beginning at 5:30 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Porter Loring Chapel on McCullough.
On Friday, July 31st, a procession will depart Porter Loring Chapel at 9:30 AM for a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Road followed by interment in San Fernando Cemetery II.
