Angelina G. Ortegon

Angelina is survived by her husband Lucio Ortegon; son, Jacob G. Ortegon; grandchildren, Isaac Tobar, Felicia Remus, Clarissa Tobar and Jacquelyn Ortegon; great-grandchildren, Isaac Tobar Jr., Topanga Remus, Miles Remus and Troy Remus; sisters, Bertha Dominguez and Vicky Guzman.

Angelina is preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Mayorga; brother, Gilberto Gamez; daughter, Debra O. Tobar.

She will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Her heart overflowed with affection for her husband, son, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Angelina's favorite pastime was tending to her plants on her patio where she found solace and peace. It was her sanctuary. But Angelina's love extended far beyond her family and plants. She had a kind and generous nature that touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. She was so proud of her family and where she came from. She was hardworking her entire life and modest about her achievements. Her warm smile and gentle words could brighten even the darkest of days. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the memories of her loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238
