She had a passion for flowers, plants and gardening. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus B. Alcala; parents, Santiago and Juana Lomeli Porter; three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Evangeline Chavez (John); son, Deacon Jesse P. Alcala (Sandra); seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild; sister, Esther Lopez (Manuel) as well as numerous family and friends. Angelita will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A Visitation for Angelita, will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 829 Ruiz Street, San Antonio, TX 78207. Followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
