Anita Trevino Del Rio

Anita T. Del Rio passed away November 11, 2015. She was an amazing composer of over 2,000 songs and sang with a beautiful voice known as Ana Maria Del Rio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all. Today God opened his arms and embraced our beautiful mother which we love and will miss everyday of our lives till we meet again. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Z. Del Rio; parents, Manuel Trevino Olvera and Maria Felicitaz Leal Garza; grandson, Anthony Tony Lopez; 3 brothers, Jose, Juan and Francisco Trevino; 1 sister, Amelia Trevino and son-in-law, Rumaldo Lopez. She is survived by her sons and daughters, Carlos (Evelyn), Pete (Josie), Rosa, Jose, Armando (Rosa), Maria (Omar), David (Sarah) and Ana (Jose); 24 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a future great grandson on the way; 3 brothers, Mauro, Juan Antonio and Manuel Trevino; 1 sister, Guadalupe Becerra. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. III.
