Anita achieved her bachelor’s degree in finance and became the Vice President of Frost Bank's Bond Department. Later, she was promoted to Executive Vice President and Trust Operations Administration at Frost Bank of San Antonio. Though Anita had many great achievements and accomplishments, she considered her greatest to be a wife, mother, Meme, friend, and devoted follower of Christ.
Anita was involved in an innumerable number of organizations. She was particularly devoted to the Alzheimer’s foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. At Discovery Village she was involved with the book club, was the treasurer for the employee holiday program, and a member of the new resident welcoming committee. She was very active in two bible study groups and had been for decades. Anita was an avid follower of Christ. She loved to garden, read, watch game shows, and sip green tea or sugar free Red Bull. She was a wonderful lunch companion and Meme.
Anita stood out for her impeccable style, her thoughtfulness in her actions, and her attention to detail - she never left the house without a nail painted, her makeup done, and her hair perfectly styled. Anita shared a deep commitment to God and her family and friends. Her generosity and willingness to help others, without expectation of being recognized, will not be forgotten. Anita was also a dog lover. Above all, Anita will be remembered for her love for God and her family.
