

Ann Elizabeth Brossman, age 64, passed away peacefully in her family’s home on July 3, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Ann is survived by her brother, Daniel W. Brossman, and his wife Linda, of Garden Ridge, TX; brother William J. Brossman, and his wife Susan, of Houston, TX; nieces and nephew Brittany Brossman Hustedt, and her husband Nick, Brass Brossman, Brooke Brossman, Sabrina Brossman, Amanda Brossman and great nephew Hudson Hustedt. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar “Brass” and Florence Brossman, of San Antonio, TX; her brother, Bruce Brossman of San Antonio, TX; and her grandparents, Henry “Butch” and Regina Heger, of Weimar, TX, and Joseph and Magdalena Brossmann, of Schulenburg, TX. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends including life-long friend, Godfrey Epperson.
Ann was born on November 14, 1958, in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1976. She attended Stephen F. Austin University and worked in the hotel industry as a Night Auditor. Ann was known for cooking and baking and sharing those creations with her close friends and family. Ann enjoyed all types of cross stitch and needlepoint, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She was very social, never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome. She was the life of the party, spirited, and charismatic. Ann’s lightning-fast wit will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A visitation for the family and friends will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX followed by a memorial service at noon. In Ann’s honor, please join us afterwards at the Brossman home as we celebrate Ann’s life.
