

Anna Blanche Fornash went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 85. Anna was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was the youngest of three children to parents, Blanche Finley Trimble and George Franklin Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother Kenneth . She was married to a devoted husband, Robert Dale Fornash on June 25, 1952 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She is survived by her four children, Donald Fornash, Robert Fornash, Judith Claypool and Patricia Amende. She is also survived by her brother, Leon Johnson of Davis, West Virginia. Her loving legacy lives through her grandchildren, Jamie Miller, Tiffany Humphries, Brent Claypool, Brian Taylor, Jessica Fornash, Heidi Amende-Mullaley, Heather Amende and Hans Amende and her great-grandchildren, Adam Claypool, Jaden Claypool, Jarod Humphries, Kyrra Humphries, Tristan Humphries, Noah Miller, Colby Mullaley, and Abigail Taylor.
Anna was a member of the Encore Players and enjoyed many joyful hours with her friends at the Bulverde Senior Center. She enjoyed a long career as a legal secretary and was known to the family as the walking dictionary and encyclopedia. Her smile gave joy to people's hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 am at Northern Hills United Methodist Church, 3703 North Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78247. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 1-3 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX and Interment will be held Monday August 5, 2013 at 11:00 am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
