Anselmo A. Martinez

Anselmo A Martinez Sr. went to be with the Lord, February 19, 2014 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his parents Margarito Martinez & Amelia Arismendez ; brothers Rafael, Arnulfo, Gilbert and Raul Martinez. Mr. Martinez is survived by his loving wife Beatrice R Martinez; sons Anselmo R Martinez Jr and wife Ruth Martinez, Rudy Carreon Jr and wife Olivia Carreon, Mathew Carreon; grandchildren Anastasia, Anselmo III, Aubree, Ayden, Jose, Flor Estela, Melissa, Kimberly, Kaily; brothers Rodolfo and wife Lupe, Jose and wife Clara Antonio; sisters Mary and husband Raymond, Margie and husband Joe, Molly and husband Steve, Estela ; sister in laws Avelina, Roxie, Janie and Juanita, numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Templo Bethel for 25 years and worked for HEB for 15 years and retired. After he retired Mr. Martinez became a foster care provider for mentally challenged adults and children for 16 years. A visitation will begin, Monday, February 24, 2014, 5:30 p.m. for immediate family and 6:30 p.m. for the public at Templo Bethel, 326 Pleasanton Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214, with and evening service held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Church with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m. follow with interment in Mission Burial Park South.
