

Anthony graduated from St. Gerard’s High School and started a career in the trucking industry; he worked for 40 plus years doing what he loved to do. In his free time, Anthony enjoyed drumming in a band. He was a founding member of “Mojo Savage” along with his dear friend Paul Gonzaba. He also enjoyed and loved spending time with his family BBQing in the backyard and going on adventurous trips.
Anthony was a loving father, stepfather, son and grandfather. He made huge sacrifices to be there always for everyone he loved. He had a huge heart with compassion for others. Anthony had a special gift to be able to bring joy to people through his laughter despite his many health care conditions he continued to be strong for everyone.
Anthony is survived by his two children: Anthony James Luna (AJ) and Allison J Luna; three stepchildren, Jonathan A Khan, Selina A Khan, and Aysha M Motamedi; his longtime companion, Frances Regan; and his mother, Consuelo Luna. His wife, who passed on April 10, 1993, Anita Jean Luna, precedes him in death.
Anthony will be missed, loved, and never forgotten.
A visitation for Anthony will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
