

Tony was born on December 1, 1946, in Providence, RI. He was married to Lori Baird (Anderson) on June 1, 1996. Tony and Lori have four children and eleven grandchildren.
After graduating from Classical High School in Providence, Tony received his Bachelor's degree from Springfield College in Springfield, MA in 1968, then taught grammar school in New Haven, CT. Due to a low draft number, he joined the Air Force. He served stateside and rose to level of Staff Sergeant. He went on to sales positions at IBM and in the Printing business. Later he obtained his Captain's license and taught sailing in Galveston Bay, TX, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Tony loved to entertain and cook, and even made the "Best" meatloaf; just ask the grandkids! He was considered a friend and leader by many. Tony was never afraid to try new things, with gusto!
Tony was preceded in death by his brother Ralph and parents, Guido, and Rose Pizzuti. He is survived by his wife Lori, brother Ed, children Tonia Klein, Crystal McJunkin, Shannon Bailey, and Luke Baird, grandchildren Blanca Rodgers, Eli Baird, Skylar Baird, Isabella Baird, Trinity Bailey, Eleanor Klein, Ethan Bailey, Jonny McJunkin, Alexander Klein, Landon Bertling, Joshua McJunkin, nephew Nick Pizzuti, and cousins.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 29 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX at 9:15 a.m. If attending, please arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. as services are prompt. A Memorial gathering will follow at 11 am at Stone Werks Grill, 999 E Basse Rd., San Antonio.
