Antonio Reyes Cerna, born on February 15, 1927 in San Buena Ventura, Mexico was called to be with the Lord on August 21, 2017 at the age of 90. He was a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Guadalupanos Society. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Felicitas Cerna; beloved wife, Carlota E. Cerna; daughter, Yolanda Mireles and son, Arturo E. Cerna. Mr. Cerna is survived by his children, Antonio E. Cerna, Jr. (Veronica), Felix E. Cerna (Mary), Mary Helen Martinez (Hector), Ruben Cerna (Diana), 21 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 18 great great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday August 27, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 9:15 am for a 10:00 am funeral service at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with interment will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
