Antonio was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Geraldine, during their cherished 44 years together. His love and devotion were felt by those who were dear to him, especially his son and grandchildren. Antonio was a hard worker and he appreciated his time working at TG&Y's retail store and Allan Bradley before eventually ending up with his second family at Southwest Airlines.
Antonio was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. His generous nature was not only seen through his work with the Knights of Columbus, but also through his involvement in his ministry in his hometown of El Paso. Antonio's involvement in raising funds for his ministry helped to build a new Catholic Church for his community of St. Frances X. Cabrini. Uniquely, Antonio was also a donor to the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA).
In his free time, Antonio was always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbors, co-workers, and family. That is, unless, he was busy watching his football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Additionally, he was a proud mentor to his employees over the last 31 years. Antonio loved to work on home projects, go fishing, grill for his family, and go on family vacations where many prized memories were created.
Antonio's legacy lives on through his wife of 44 years, Geraldine Hinojos; son, Marco Antonio Hinojos; grandchildren, Philip Anthony Hinojos, Giabella Leonor Hinojos, and Xzavier Anthony Hinojos; sisters, Ernestina Rojas (Rogelio), Emma Amaro (Ralph), and Gloria Contreras (Gilberto); brother, Norman Hinojos (Minerva); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Antonio is preceded in death by Antonio and Maryann Hinojos, Refugio and Magdalena Campos, and Neponuceno Hinojos.
