He proudly served his country in WWII with the rank of Captain in the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Katie U. Murray; brothers: Willie Murray, Tommy Murray; Ben Murray; Audie Crockett and sister, Mattie Crockett.
Archie is survived by his niece, Jeri Crump and husband, Emory of Katy, TX; niece; Margie Dibble; nephew, Carl Walker; cousin, Ida Shockley of San Antonio, TX; and numerous cousins.
He touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
Confirming his wishes, he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Katie.
