Arlene C. Morton, 91, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. She was born in Susquehanna, PA on July 15, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Major Thomas C. Morton, US Army Retired. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Furr, Thomas C. Morton Jr. and wife Jeanette; grandchildren, Melissa, Todd, Valerie and Laurie; great grandchildren, Jessie, Andrew, Samantha, Asher and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will begin on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N. Evans Rd. in Selma. The interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Fisher House or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
