She graduated from Holmes High School in 1984. After graduating high school she went to work as a bank teller at Security National Bank and went to school part time at San Antonio College. Shortly after, she would fall in love with Darryl J. Padilla, and both would marry in March of 1986. Arlette would go on to have 2 sons, Andrew and Anthony, and spend many days traveling with her family. Arlette loved to travel, although she was not too fond of the cold, she enjoyed seeing new sights and experiencing the beauty of nature. She also loved her friends and family. There was never a time where she was not laughing or making memories with them. Arlette was truly one of a kind, a vivacious spirit, always ready for the next adventure, whatever it would have been.
Arlette had a radiant personality that resonated and impacted everyone she met. She had a gift to light up any room she entered. There is nothing but good memories to cherish with Arlette. She loved Fiesta season in San Antonio, with its vibrant colors and array of sounds and delicious smells. Arlette loved her fur babies as well, as they would follow her every move. Her life will forever be remembered and etched into the hearts of those that got to know her. We all loved her so much.
