Armandina Garibay Marinez

Armandina G. Marinez passed away on Sept. 21, 2020 at the age of 88 in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico on April 28, 1932, she is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria Garibay and Modesta Martinez Garibay; her beloved husband, Pedro Marinez; her son, Mario Alberto Marinez; her sisters, Maria Elena Davila, Martina Villanueva, Rosalina Fernandez and Nicolasa Garibay; and her brother, Pablo Garibay.

Armandina is survived by her children, Pati M. Borrego, Lupie Marinez, Pete Marinez and Pablo Marinez; her grandchildren, Debora M. Garcia, Danielle M. Van Orman, Gabrielle Marinez, Alicia M. Ramos, Pablo Jacob Marinez and Adrianna Marinez; her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marinez, Gabriel Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Derrick Garcia, Damien Ramos, Noah Edward Meneses, Amanda Rose Meneses, Alyssa Jade Meneses, Uriel Van Orman and Luke Rafael Marinez; her siblings, Maria Esperanza Salinas, Jovita Castillo and Alicia Morales; and her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Rd. 78237 – will be limited to only 25 people. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6. The burial will be private family gathering at this time. The staff appreciate your understanding.
