Arminda "Chuma " Santos Carrillo

She is preceded in death by her parents, Macario Carrillo Perez and Elisa Martinez Carrillo; sisters, Hortencia Garcia and Gloria Aquino and nephews, Martin Perez, Jr and Alfonso Carrillo, Jr.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Juan Jose Santos; Children, Diana Morales (Sergio), Marina Vasquez (Daniel Valadez), Emma Garza (Isaac Ferniz), Juan Santos, Jr (Paloma) and Yvette Santos; grandchildren, Sergio Morales Jr, Adrian Morales, Melanie Morales, Robert Vasquez, Jose Vasquez, Juan Garza Jr, Daniel Garza, Destiny Quintanilla, Mia Quintanilla, Izrael Santos, Anthony Santos and Nicolas Santos; great grandchildren, Adrian Morales, Jr, Amadeo Morales and Elianna Jo Morales; siblings, Emma Paleo, Alfonso Carrillo, Macario Carrillo Jr, Alma Perez, Leticia Rodriguez, Francisco Carrillo and Andres Carrillo. Arminda is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.

Arminda liked taking gambling trips to Kickapoo, tending to her many plants and loved sunflowers. She enjoyed family get togethers and sharing the delicious tamales she would make.

A visitation for Arminda will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be Celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
