In my 17 years with the Spurs Foundation, I always looked forward to seeing Marty at games...and of course at Tux 'N Tennies! Marty, you will be missed deeply.

We offer our deepest condolences on cousin Marty's passing. We will always remember him with fond memories. He was such an inspiration to all who met him. I will be forever grateful for all the love and support he gave our family Anival Ramirez when Dad was so sick and after his amputation, a during his illness and subsequent death. He was always a phone call away offering advice 
and comfort. He was the leader of the pack and truly loved everyone he met. He brought great happiness to Dad, especially when he got to go to the Spurs games.He was also such a great prayer warrior, but now he is an even greater one now that he is in heaven with our Lord. I know he will be deeply missed, but we are left with all the fond memories he left us with. May the Lord give you the strength with each passing day to get through your enormous grief. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the services due to commitments at home. I will continue to pray for all of you. May God Bless You and Hold You in the palm of his hand. Marty well done you faithful servant and till we meet again. I'm sure Dad and all the family held a big fandango on the day you entered eternal life.

'Living just a couple of miles from Miramar MCAS, it would be impossible not to think of "Uncle Marty", pretty much, on a daily basis. Everytime I look up and see a military helicopter, he is the first and only person I think of, and that will never change. It was a joy and honor to have known him and his family. This hurts my heart, for he was SOME kinda man.'

Do you get emails up there in heaven? I hope so. That was how we kept up with each other between visits. I'm so glad you are in great company. Of course, you leave behind a giant hole that can't be filled. My husband & kids were just as saddened to hear of your passing from this earth as I was. You were the patriarch of this family. I immediately took out the CD with your picture on the front and look at it everyday. I'll miss you so much.
