Arthur Borrego entered into rest August 25, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 63. He was born September 21, 1946 in San Antonio to the late Marcos and Pauline Borrego. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gaye Borrego; stepdaughter, Sheria Phillips and husband, Johnny; stepson, Cabot Benton; five grandchildren; sister, Julie Knight and husband , Scotty; nephews Steve Bourdeau, Gary Bourdeau, and a host of extended family and friends. Mr. Borrego retired from a senior personnel management position with the U.S. government, and after graduation from Texas A&M-Kingsville, served as an Army officer with the 1st Cavalry Division. No services will be held at the funeral home. A private Celebration of Life will be held at the Borrego home. The inurnment service will be at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
