One of six children, he was the last of his generation. Arthur married Eleanor Cornell Haviland of Purchase, NY in 1939. Together they raised two daughters in San Antonio, TX. She predeceased him in 1982. He graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Art's career in the drilling business began when he moved to Texas in 1933. He started as a roughneck and later supervised several rigs in southern Illinois. In 1946 Art and his brother, Walter, formed Buzzini Drilling Company in San Antonio. The company drilled over 500 wells in Wyoming, Colorado and South Texas. Art invented several devices that made drilling rigs safer and more efficient. The company was sold in 1981. Art was a two- term member of the Terrell Hills City Council, a member and later Chairman of the Terrell Hills Planning and Zoning Commission, a board member of the International Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors, a founding member and board member of Oak Hills Country Club, a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and The Argyle. He loved golf, rose gardening, fly-fishing, bread baking, cooking and taking his family and friends to lunch and dinner. He also enjoyed telling his grandchildren about horse drawn delivery wagons and Prohibition in New York and about surviving the Spanish Influenza in 1918. He is survived by two daughters, Beverly B.
