

He was born August 3, 1938 in Jasper, TX. to Lynn and Elizabeth Robinson. After school, Arthur moved to San Antonio, TX and married his first wife Cynthia Elkins and started a career in the Steel Business. They owned Elkins Steel & Form Co.
His hobbies included deep sea fishing and hunting. He enjoyed traveling many places in pursuit of trophy game hunting and fishing for sharks off the Texas Gulf Coast.
After he retired, some of his favorite time spent was with his second wife Beverly, along with his children and grandchildren teaching them to hunt at the Circle M Ranch.
His life was full and he shared it with those he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, his Brother George, infant daughter Donna, and wife Beverly.
Arthur is survived by children Valerie Sorrell & Randy, Gene Robinson & Denise, Chad Robinson & Fran, Brent Carpenter & Kathy, Brad Carpenter & Dawn. Brother Roy Robinson & Marie, Sisters Mary Phillips & Gene, and Ruth Wilson, Brother in law Max Durdan & Carol.
The love of his life are his 13 grandchildren and one great grandson, numerous nieces and nephews and first wife Cynthia Elkins and long time friends.
In honoring Arthur's request, some of his ashes will be loaded into shot gun shells by his long time friend and will be fired from a shot gun over his beloved East Texas woods and the Angelina River at Bevelport, near Jasper, TX.
