Artie Estel Denning passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the age of 96 in Floresville, TX. She was born in Wade, OK on November 11, 1921 to Charles William and Rosie Dela Phillips. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings: Curtis, Hollis, Joe and Charlene. She is survived by her children: Lydia “Gayle” Spitz (PID James “Jim”) of Irving, TX, Darrel Staley (Angie) of San Antonio, TX., Tina Tuttle (Eric) of La Vernia, TX., and Tomalea Sewell (Claude) of Bulverde, TX ; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Artie was a loving, caring and kind person, who is always the life of the party. She was a jokester and loved to dance. She loved to bake, sew, garden and loved her grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed.
