Audrey dedicated more than 40 years to education, serving as both a high school teacher and later a vice-principal. She was known for her steady leadership, her deep compassion for students, and her belief that every young person had unique potential. Colleagues admired her professionalism and grace, while generations of students remembered her as someone who truly listened, encouraged, and guided them.
Outside the school walls, Audrey was an adventurer at heart. Together with her husband, Belo, she traveled extensively, embracing new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes wherever they went. Greece held a special place in her heart. After her husband’s passing, Audrey continued exploring the world with her tight-knit mahjong group, a circle of friends who became her travel companions, confidantes, and extended family.
She was a longtime member of Reconciliation Episcopal Church. She was a life long learner. Audrey was a loving wife of Belo and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was dedicated to all of her extended family.
Audrey will be remembered for her sharp wit, her adventurous soul, her steadfast faith, her boundless kindness, sense of humor, intelligence and generosity.
