Aurora S. Garcia, age 100, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Aurora was born May 9, 1920 to Doroteo and Juanita Segovia, and she was married to Modesto Garcia for 37 years. She had a passion for sewing, gardening, her family, and her business, of which she owned herself.
Aurora was preceded in death by her parents Doroteo and Juanita Segovia, and her husband Modesto Garcia. She is survived by her three children: Laura, Miguel, and Yolanda, and her grandson Daniel, all of whom will mourn and miss her.
A visitation for Aurora will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A mass of resurrection will occur Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at St John Berchmans Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226. An interment will occur Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation and Rosary at Funeraria del Angel Trevino - 226 Cupples Road 78237 - will be limited to 50 people in the building at a time. Face coverings are required at all times.
