Barbara Ann Brown

Barbara graduated from Central Catholic High Schol in Ft Wayne, IN and then St. Joseph School of Nursing and finished her degree with the University of San Francisco with a BSN.

Barbara served in the US Army for over 20 years as an operating room nurse retiring in 1985 as a LTC. She was stationed worldwide in locations such as Korea, Japan, and Germany.

Barbara met the love of her life H. Dale Brown and they were married in 1972 at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Barbara had many hobbies and especially loved sewing, and cooking, especially her home made pizza and lasagna. She also loved spending time traveling with her husband.

She was preceded in death by, parents, Marie and Clarence Diek. Barbara is survived by husband COL H. Dale Brown; sister, Eleanor Sechler; stepsons, Michael Brown (Lisa), and Jeffrey Brown. She was also survived by 5 grandsons.

A visitation will be held on February 13, 2023 at 10:30 am at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
