'Barbara Kainer was a wonderful friend. I met her at Churchill High School while substitute teaching. We attended hundreds of movies. We swam together almost everyday all summer at my neighborhood pool. I will never forget her sweet voice on the telephone saying "It's just me checking in. We talked often. She was so supportive throughout my dear husband's illness from lymphoma and was very upset when he died on her birthday 4-22-15. She was indeed a true friend and I will miss her very much.'
