'Laura and Linda, I doubt that you remember me. You both were very young when I used to work for many years with your mom at Montgomery Wards. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I always thought of her like one of my sisters. We worked for so long together and I always felt we would someday be close again. She was a truly remarkable lady.'

'I just found out about the passing of Barbara. I worked at Montgomery Wards at Windsor Park. Barbara wa so nice and shared recipes with me. She was a very nice, classy lady and always had a great laugh. I am blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace.'

Believe me when I say that I know exactly how you are feeling. Your Mother, my Aunt, was truly a Saint. If ever a Saint were to walk on this Earth, it was Aunt Barbara. 
I miss her terribly, but know too, that she is alongside Mother, Tommy, Jimmy, G.O., Winnie, Louis and all the other family members who have passed on. Take comfort in the knowledge that your Mother (Grandmother) is NO LONGER in any pain, but rather flying over you all. watching and directing your each and every move.'

'If there ever was a true angel of God, Barbara is surely one of them. My wife of 59 years,Dorothy, passed away on 2 March of this year, and asked Barb to watch over me and my family---and she did it until her last day on Earth. My children have idolized their Aunt Barbara and will miss her terribly. My heart goes out to her family now. Eternal rest for one who deserves a seat near God.'
