On October 22, 2017, I met with my late husband and daughter at the grand ole H-E-B in the sky. I decided it was time to go on the ultimate shopping trip that my family on earth could just not handle. But, in leaving I left them behind with many memories of the beautiful life I lived.
I was a crazy teenager, a loving and devoted wife, the life of the party, a loyal friend and a hands-on grandmother. I would like to thank my wonderful daughter Sharon and granddaughter Avery, who I adore, who cared for me and shuttled me around to my doctor's appointments. My granddaughter Ashlea who managed my pills and took care of me and to my granddaughter Allie who always made sure my hair and nails were done. Being a Colonel's wife one must always make sure you are presentable. I was a feisty lady with the taste for the finer things. I enjoyed my glass of wine at night and a sweet Krispy Kreme in the morning. My family and faith were the two most important things to me. I lived a wonderful life and traveled many places. Don't cry because I'm gone, instead have a glass of wine for me and be happy you knew me.
