Beatrice Ibarra

Our loving mother, Beatrice Ibarra, entered into peace on February 20, 2012. Beatrice was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 17, 1940. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ortiz and father Carlos Velasquez, Husband Gregory Ibarra Jr. and son Gregory Ibarra III. She is survived by her six children: Veronica Ibarra Chapple (Ben) of Westminster, CA; Brenda Ibarra Albiar (David) of Lee’s Summit, MO; Tracy Ibarra (Rachel) of Riviera Beach, FL; Randolph Ibarra (Carmen) & Shawn Ibarra (Georgia) both of San Antonio, TX; Valerie Ibarra Escobar (Tom) of Westminster, CA; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will begin, Friday, February 24, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Saturday, February 25, 2012, 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Josephs’ South San Catholic Church. Services will conclude after Mass. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 for a committal service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you continue to support one of Beatrice’s favorite causes, The American Heart Association.
