Our precious mother Beatrice Flores Olmos, born on December 25, 1920 in San Antonio, Texas was called into the arms of Jesus on December 31, 2010. God loved Mom so much that he gave her 90 years of life. She loved her children and grandsons with all her heart. Mom gave her love to us in serving, nurturing and sacrifice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Flores and Maria Ramos; brothers, Arthur and Albert; and sister, Elvira. Survivors include her son, Johnny L. Hernandez & wife Irene; daughters, Christine M. Dexter, Virginia L. Olmos, Caroline G. Urban & husband Dwayne; grandsons, Andrew E. Urban and Robert E. Dexter and Mom’s youngest sister Angela Garza.
Visitation will be from 5-9:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Also, visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday. A procession will depart the funeral home to the church at 12:30 pm with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Anthony of Padua, 102 Lorenz, 78209. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
