

Benito Naranjo Jr., lovingly known as Benny, Boy, and Uncle Bunny was called home on March 19, 2023, at the age of 61. He is survived by his angel on earth, his beloved wife Dora E. Naranjo; his daughter, Jessica Lynn Naranjo; step-kids, Nicole (Augustine) Sierra, Kayla (Ivan) Saenz, Victoria (Ruben) Guzman, Andrea Cazares, and Adrian Cazares; grandchildren, Serenity, Leilani, Caiden, Aviana, Noah, Summer, Kayleigh, Lilliana, and Josiah; mother, Mercedes C. Gonzalez; sister, Anna (Eddie) Martinez; brother, Xavier (Susie) Naranjo; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Benito Naranjo.
Benny was born in San Benito, Texas on April 25, 1961. He was a wonderful friend who could always be counted on. Benny enjoyed fishing and meeting new people who instantly became his friends. Benny will be remembered for the fun and laughter that he brought to all those around him. After graduating from San Benito HS, he joined the US Air Force and retired after 20 honorable years. He served in the Gulf War and was an extremely proud member of the 820th Red Horse Squadron, Demolition Team.Benny had a heart as big as Texas and filled with love for all. From a plaque honoring his service with the 820th Red Horse….Blast Well Done!
