

Arthur was touched by Jesus Christ and became a minister after having four children with his beloved wife of 29 years, Edith Faye.
He ministered in many churches in the Midwest and later in life he retired as the Chief of Chaplains at the Kansas State Prison and was a counselor at the Valley Hope Treatment Center in Atchison, Kansas.
After semi retirement, he was very active in the First United Methodist Church in Leavenworth, Kansas and developing spiritual programs at the Chandler Estate in San Antonio, where he was living.
Arthur graduated from IIT in 1950 and the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1961. He was a member of the Salvation Army, the Lions Club and the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Thora; his beloved wife of eighteen years, Aletha Lallier Johansen; his siblings, Samuel, Solveig, Ralph, and Reider.
He is survived by his children: Twila Leindecker (Ray); Trudy Songco (Gary); Jon Johnsen (Jeanne); Tina Kimber (Jerry) and stepchildren: Karen Anderson (Jerry) and Steven Lallier; grandchildren: Christopher Leindecker, Kimberly Leindecker Tholl, Kelsey Songco, Samantha Songco and Joey Songco; stepgrandchildren: Michelle Kozak (Terry Eisele) and Sean Kozak (Kathy); great grandson, Dustin Tholl; his only surviving sister, Ruth Raws and many wonderful friends.
He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
