Bertha E. Esquivel

Bertha E. Esquivel born in San Antonio, TX on April 7, 1951, went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2014 at the age of 63 after she lost her battle to cancer. She was retired from Edgewood ISD. She is preceded in death by her father, Cresencio Esquivel. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Esquivel; mother, Tomasita G. Esquivel; daughters, Gina Arispe (Roy) and Cynthia Garcia (Perry); sisters, Gloria E. Garcia (Eusebio), Rosa E. Valle (Carlos), Irma G. Esquivel (Lee), Lucy Ortiz (Alfredo); two grandsons, Daniel Farias and Tristan Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and wife and we will miss her very much. Her joy was her two grandsons, daughters, and going to the casinos with family and friends. Family would like to thank the doctors/nurses at UHSC. A visitation will begin on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.
