

Betty Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Miram and Mary Ann Goodwin Bloomer; her husband, Francis N. "Tookie" Finch and nephew, John Dulaney.
Betty Jean graduated from Incarnate Word High School and attended Texas A&I at Kingsville.
In high school, she was the Secretary of the English History Club, a member of the Horseback Riding Club, Sodality and Confraternity.
Later she worked for David Miller, a land developer, until her retirement and was a long time member of Sonterra Country Club.
She was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, the Sultanas de Bejar, St. Augustine Guild and the St. Anthony de Padua Seniors Group.
Betty Jean kept in touch with her high school friends through luncheons and card parties every month. Her true passion, besides her faith, was caring for her cats and the many other animals she rescued.
Betty Jean kept current on world events and enjoyed animated discussions on political and moral topics.
Betty Jean's memory will live forever with those who knew her well.
Betty Jean is survived by her sister and husband, Judge and Mrs. Gene L. Dulaney, their daughter, Mary Jean and her husband, Robert L. Stockton; stepchildren, F. Nelson Finch II, wife Susan, their children, Katherine and Matthew; Deidre Finch Gibbs, husband, Dorian W. "Bill" Gibbs, their sons, David and Darren; John A. Finch, wife, May, their children, Hailey and Austin; and cousins, Maxine Goodwin Robertson, Kathleen Goodwin, Margie Goodwin Langlinais, Mary Goodwin Kelly, James Francis Goodwin, Bridgett Goodwin Moffett and Cecila Goodwin Wueste and husband, Gus.
Viewing will be Tuesday, May 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
