Oh, Mom...it's been 2 years since your passing and the family misses you SO much! We always talk about you and the great memories but, the pain is even worse now for everyone as life just not the same without you! And, I miss talking with you every week as a lot has happened in my life with work the last year, etc. Dad doing ok, taking it day by day, still playing golf couple times a week which is good. He is also taking great care of Bella, the cats, and the garden outside. Joy is expecting her first baby on July 23rd...a boy named Bradley and wish you could be here for that...and will be in spirit! Lynn and Mike doing fine too. I love and miss you SO much and are in my thoughts everyday!

Aunt Betty was a wonderful person, always friendly and wearing a smile. God has acquired quite a gem.

Dear Mom, 
I know you are in a better place...no more suffering and pain. I miss you so much and my heart is broken. The tears from crying every day now are good ones though; remembering 49 years of great memories I have of you as a Mom, a song I hear on the radio that we both loved, our telephone calls every week on how you, Dad and the "furry babies" were doing, my good/bad days, advice needed, etc. You always listened, and then told me to think positive as life is not always easy or good. And I believe that is why you are in Heaven now...as God needed you to help him in getting that message out.

Dear Aunt Betty: 
Are you finding your way around heaven? Have you received your wings yet? If they don't fit you can take them back but you already know this as you were the queen of "take backs". I remember everything you did for me and Mary,to name just a few things: the endless trips to the swimming pool but never learned to swim as graceful as you. Our numerous trips to Big Bob's, hamburgers and always a milk shake, long bike rides, picnics that lasted all day, trips to the zoo, sundies at Dairy Queen and always save the spoon in the glove box, taking us to the movies, ONE snack before and no more, and all the shopping trips. Taking pictures of you so you could send them to Uncle Chuck while he was overseas. But most of all I will remember your loving ways and your smile that could melt!! I will always love and miss you!

I have so many wonderful memories of my aunt Betty. She took me horseback riding and taught me how to swim. She took me to the Disney movies. I will miss her so much, she was a very special person in my life when I was growing up.

The world has lost a ray of sunshine. Betty's smile lit up a room!

I heard from Patsy this morning, she told me Betty Jean had passed on. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I had no idea Betty was ill. My love goes out to all of you. I wish I could be there with you. Betty and I were always close. We will all miss her so much. The Lord will care for her until we all are together again. Let your faith sustain you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Betty was one of the most selfless loving women that I had the pleasure of calling my friend and neighbor. What a gift of friendship we gave to each other and I will forever keep her close to my heart. I will surely miss her when I visit San Antonio but will always keep fond memories of us sitting on the back porch visiting as Chuck cooked the steaks. Incredible woman!!

the time to drive down for the services but I will be thinking of you all and she will
