Although there are no words for how I feel I say thank you. Thank you for who I am and everything you have done for me. The love you have given cannot be measured. I wish we had more time but that is the selfishness talking. I am happy that you knew Jesus in this world so you could be next to him in Heaven. I love you and I will miss you. Your Son.

Dear Mr. Stone: Sylvia called me today and let me know that your wife has passed away. We talked about the days when we were in Caldwell High School and you and your brother were the coaches. We are now 55 and you only about l2 years older and I can tell you we have all had losses in our lives. I lost my oldest brother, Randy Kocurek. You might remember him. He was 42 when he tried to save a man from drowning and lost his own life, then at the age of 23 I lost one of my 3 sons. I know how hard losses are, but what has been and continues to be a comfort is the feeling God gives me that I still have many more things to do and someday I will be reunited with my family and friends. I really am not sure if you remember our class because you have had so many students and it doesn't matter except that we remember what a great teacher you were. You taught us World History. Some other students were Stephen Kyles, Michael Balcar who died 6 years ago from cancer, Elaine Doss, Bruce Cowen and of course many others. When my son died my husband, myself and my other two boys really pulled together and became a very tight knit family. You have a son and the same will happen with the two of you. It seemed important to let you know that you have touched many lives and so has your wife. May God Bless you and your son. Scarlette

Dear "Uncle" Bryant & Reagan, I don't know if you remember me or not but I am a friend of Melindas. I spent many summers in Port O' Connor with the Stone families. In case you don't remember I was the one that Aunt Bettye alway called, "jellyfish". 
She so graciously game me that name after the time I was stung by 11 jellyfish one summer. From that point on my name was "jellyfish". 
Aunt Bettye always made the coast trips so fun. She was the life of the party. 
I am so sorry for her loss,I know heaven is a "hopin" spot with Aunt Bettye there. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You,

Bryant and Regan, 
 Don and I are genuinely sorrow that Bettye has left us. She was truely a fun loving and caring person. We will miss her greatly.

 Just want you to know...our washer tournaments will never be the same. She was a winner!! Now she's giving the Angels in heaven a run for their money.
