She continued to reside in Windcrest where she was active in various local organizations. She served as a docent at the Institute of Texan Cultures since 1978, belonged to the Mission Belles, and volunteered at the Medical Museum and NESA. In addition to her most loving and supportive family, she enjoyed music, bridge, and travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John H. Sharp, M.D., Col., U.S. Army. She is survived by daughters, Linda Sharp of San Diego, CA, Christine Sharp of Riverside, CA and Kathy Blohm and husband Jeff, of Tucson, AZ; grandsons, Greg and David Blohm; granddaughter Chloe Sharp; great-granddaughter, Grace Blohm.
