I am very late in discovering this and saddened to learn of Bill's death. I lived three houses down from Bill on Edison Drive when we were boys and he was my best friend. I moved across town in the 4th grade and except for a couple of visits lost touch. He was a fine boyhood buddy. We built forts, played flies and grounders, and did all manner of things together. I know he had to have grown into a fine man.

i am finding out a little late about his passing. bill was comical, and had a wonderful sense of humor. i will deeply miss him.

I never met anyone with a bigger heart than Billy. I also never met anyone with a quicker wit and a greater sense of humor. The world is a duller place now that he is gone.

I was new in the fire deptl and had been detailed to #9's when an emergency came in at the whetely h.s., a man was about to jump. Well Bill Serser set up a ladder and climbed up and talked to the man, above and beyond the police getting there and totally calmed the man down and before we new it down came the man, saved the day. I will always remember wild Bill may God bless.

Bill thank you for being a big brother when I was growing up..... You have given me many funning memories..... My prayers are with you.....

My heart goes out to the family of Mr. Selsor for their loss who is now in the Big fire station in the sky. What a guy, as a youngster I looked up to Mr Selsor & have soooo many great memories. My first beer, Pearl of course in the green truck coming back from canyon lake, sliding down the pole at the fire station, going to the drive in, in the truck, his baseball glove that had Alka-Selsor written on it, throwing the football and baseball, I could go on and on... Mr. Selsor always seemed happy and was always encouraging to me. He may no longer be here in the flesh but his memories will live forever. Oh, Willie and Ronnie stay out of the polio water!

There was never a dull moment when I was around Bill. He always made me laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with Willie and Ronnie and their families. Kevin & Terri Kolodzie

I have worked with Pat Selsor for 16 years and went to school with Billy at St. Mary Magdalene's and Central Catholic. I am glad I attended Roy's funeral to have said hello to Billy. My most deepest sympathy to all of Billy's family.

Willie, Ronnie, and the entire Selsor family: I always enjoyed spending time with Bill. He usually had a joke or two or three and memories of him will keep me smiling for a long time. Later in life and in conversations about his grandchildren he beamed with pride. I will truly miss him.

Bill was one of the most generous people I know. He cheerfully offered jokes, stories and material support to many. He and Liz were friends and surrogate family to many, including myself. I treasure their gifts of friendship and support and many good times spent together.
