Bill Stovall

William E. “Bill” Stovall went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2013 at the age of 84. He was born March 6, 1929 in San Antonio to parents Gerald and Ursula Stovall. Bill graduated from Edison High School, attended college and served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for Orsinger Buick for 35+ years, eventually retiring as an Assistant Sales Manager. Bill was a car enthusiast, and after retirement Bill went on to pursue his passion of restoring old cars and attending car shows full time.

He was also an avid hunter, loved the outdoors and enjoyed horses. In fact, at one time he raised Quarter Horses.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jean Stovall; his sons, Greg E. Stovall and Gary W. Stovall; grandchildren, Nathan Stovall and Baillie Jean Adamson; sisters, Patsy Driver and Gerry McCoomb, both from Newnan, Georgia; as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.

Visitation, with light refreshments, will begin at 8:30AM Friday, July 5 at Sunset North Funeral Home, with the Celebration of Life to start at 10AM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
